This thread makes me miss Sacramento.
It was nice to be back last week. Seeing the arena and all the things coming up downtown...Makes me kind of want to move back
But the rent prices for all those new apartments are ridiculous. I know state workers aren't making THAT much money to afford that in the Sacramento area.

Its not too bad. I just got a 3 bedroom loft at 800J and I live by myself.

Older apartments can go from 1000-1400 depending on the area.
But the new apartment/condos are going for $1800+
Those new apartments across from Raley Field in West Sac...A studio for $1700.

Downtown is poppin right now though. In a few years, once K street gets finished, the high rises are set, and the MLS stadium is done, those prices are going to go up. If i was single and could afford it, purchasing something downtown now would seem like it could be a great return a few years down the road.

A 2 bedroom in 800J is a little over 2k I think, like 2,300/month.

Flaming Grill alright, I've been there a few times. There's one right next to where I live, terrible service. Food is decent, I wouldn't go outta my way to eat there lol
