Yea, from now on drake can ignore every beef and diss track towards him the same way nas and jay did later in their careers. Once your battle tested your good. Nicki isn't respected as a hiphop artist and she's not battle tested.

not necessarily...i don't really agree with the analysis, but there is enough precedence for bigger, more successful rappers, basically ignoring less successful/smaller rappers and keeping it moving...internet/social media is the real difference, because artists are using it as an outlet instead of the music; and it is harder to ignore the instant slander...to the extent nicki continues making hit records, truly ignores the growing circus around this and operates as if remy is a non-factor she MIGHT be good, but there can't be any half-stepping either respond on a record or not at all

She gonna throw a couple little jealous/broke jabs on her next album or song and keep it moving. If young b or somebody came at her she would respond asap, they pick n choose their battles over there. I would love for her to come back with some fire tho, we haven't had a legit lyrical back n forth in a long time.

I'm sure its been said in this thread but damn, if Meek wasn't trying to toe the line for Nicki he could have went all the way in on Drake the first time around. 
 
I look at this like skip 2 my lou embarrassing Steph curry at the Rucker. One has the streets on lock while the other has undeniable mainstream success. The fans of the Steph aren't going anywhere, but if he wants that respect from the streets he gotta come back with the heat.

I definitely can see Nicki responding. She been dropping freestyles all year. If she responded to a washed Lil Kim, why wouldn't she responded to a late-prime Reminisce?

I agree with the NT'er that said she's in a lose-lose situation though. Social media always roots for the underdogs, instead of the ones on top/mainstream artists. Drake's "Back-to-Back" is one of the rare instances in Hip-Hop where the community rode for the top dog, instead of the underdog.

So in theory... I think Nick should save the embarrassment and keep the track in safe keeping UNLESS Reminisce keeps dropping diss track after diss track.
