Honestly not liking what Adidas are doing with the zebras. It's never been a top 3 Yeezy imo but it was a special cw because of how limited it was. It was that one golden limited pearl compared to all the other V2's and now they'll just become "another" semi gr V2. And no I don't own them so I don't care about the resell aspect but I just think it was nice if Adidas would keep some of the V2's more limited from a sneakerlover and the hype perspective.
I was honestly looking forward to the dark green pair A LOT more than getting a re-release of the Zebras.

nah see it was the opposite for me. struck out completely on og 750s + turtle doves. but once they implemented the line ive been able to cop just about every yeezy since - except for grey gum 750s. they were the ones that escaped me.

So given this I guess you like Belugas as they are arguably the most limited colorway of the v2s? I am not sure how or why adidas' production decisions would play into what one likes. I like Belugas (my uni's colorway) regardless if it was a 28K production run or their available at my Payless and there were 500K pairs in existence.

dont know if this has been discussed or whatever, but just noticed that the restock powerphases have the same prod. date as the original drop back in march. just checked my pair of powerphases from the first drop w/ the new ones that released this past weekend. must've held back all that stock to create a buzz, and it worked.

I do have the Belugas and scored 6 pairs (all the luck I've had on ADC for Yeezys, except for choco 750's were I got in 1 minute after they went live) but no that's not what I mean. I'm not one of those "the more limited the better the shoes are" guys. I do love my creams and I really like the oreos and breds. I just mean that it would be nice if Adidas released a few of the v2 colorways and kept them more limited so the hype will remain and just to keep some colorways more limited to create more buzz around them like the zebras were intitally when they first dropped. Honestly the zebras are my least liked cw so far even though they were easily the most limited before this re-release.

it makes sense and I am suspecting the zebras will have the same production date as well as the Feb release. I think the larger question is if this is the new normal for release. Seeding release with a full release scheduled based on the reception.
