The second time in about a month or two. Most aren't aware of this but now Nike has resorted to lying about the technology in shoes and charging us a premium price for a product that doesn't contain what it's supposed to thus cheating the customer

:smh:

sounds to me like whoever was running nike's social media facebook platform just copied and pasted something that wasn't correct. don't think nike was thinking they'd get a whole bunch of sales by intentionally lying on their nike basketball china fb page.

They just did it with the recent Jordan XV

And in return they gave people 20% off coupon codes

the link doesn't work for me at work.

what shoe is that?

Left is the hyperdunk 08 the USA colorways and the right shoe is the FTB Kobe hyperdunk

Both were pretty recent releases and clearly the Kobe hyperdunk doesn't even have zoom Air in it

It's either a case of the factories pulling a bait and switch (which happens when they move to the lowest bidder) or Nike intentionally gimping the shoes to save money. For Nike's sake I hope it's the former.

This isn't new tho. Nikes been cutting and pasting from old descriptions for forever

Shoe industry doesn't have any regulations they have to comply with?
it's not even the shoe industry, it's basic fraud. if you tell someone you are selling them a certain product for a certain price, then lie and give them something else, that's fraud regardless of industry. If they sold shoes as having zoom air in them and they didn't they committed fraud. whether or not they did it on purpose or they were lied to by their manufacturers is the important question here.

Is it true that Nike released the most recent retro of the Jumpman Pros without Zoom air units?

99% of people that collect shoes don't even use them for what the shoe is intended for so no big deal

I'm saying, how you release a shoe at the same time, the one without an air bag at a higher price point and lack the performance

Has nothing to do with copy and pasting. They are doing this on purpose to cut corners and fool the consumer

You can keep saying it's someone copy and pasting but it's one of the biggest brands and companies in he world, you know damn well ain't no copy and pasting being done in accident especially with shoes produced around the same time just that one was a limited edition shoe and missing the air

You taking the copy and pasting too literally.

Thats lame.

we known about it for some time, retroed shoes not have the same tech as the ogs, or those lil penny shoes that had zoom the width of a stick of gum, but chargin crazy prices.

smh

other notable examples? (post the pics please)

I was wondering why the recent retros felt so stiff. Air Jordan 6,8, 14 didn't feel quite right.

If recent means years of retros then I agree.
I remember when JB started retroing the team Jordans and they first swapped the carbon fiber plates with painted plastic :smh:

We learned that when a Nike retro was listed as nike sportswear instead of Nike basketball then it was probably missing some stuff.

I think some aren't reading or understanding

Both were releasing around the same time if not months apart...

One is a GR retro (the one with the air bag) the other is a higher priced limited shoe.

Doesn't make sense at all

We are telling you that this isn't new and that it's been going on for a long time now.
You keep saying the shoes you are comparing were produced around the same time.

Of course.... it's because they have been doing it for years now.
