Aldridge is a ***** for that attempt to hurt kd. And people really making excuses saying Zaza did it. Zaza is a 7ft clutz doing a sprint closeout. Aldridge jumped 3 inches forward cuz he gave up on the shot... Then took a second hop under kd. Bruh had zero momentum. 2nd hop was forced as hell.

God I wish kd wasn't a beta and just backhanded Aldridge right on the spot. Intentionally trying to injure a player? There should be a hefty fine
If the Pop's rant about Zaza got the league's attention, then that LMA play should be looked at. IMO, he didn't do hiding that trick.

Curry been locked in since KD went down....

Fully expect for him to get Finals MVP

i can see it happening already...

lebron goes up for a jumper,

zaza closes out same way he did with kawhi,

foul called,

substitution horn blows,

dahntay jones check in...
I had no idea Dahntay Jones is back with Cleveland

Weird because both are University of Texas dudes, but it was blatant in my eyes

I don't know about Kawhi being back for Game 3.  He'll have a lot of rest, but I just feel Pop's going to sit Kawhi for the rest of the series ala Duncan.

2-0 down - no 'belief' it just has me thinking why risk further injury at this point in his career.

Spurs are in a hole, and it's going to take a lot of digging.  1-1 would've kept things interesting.

Depending on the severity of his sprain...I can see him sit Game 3 and come back Game 4?

But down 2-0, he might end up playing through it.

The Spurs beat the Rockets who play a similar brand of basketball as the Warriors in game 6 at Houston without Kawhi as well, and blew them out by 39.

Kawhi being out is bummer for SAS, but what does that have to do with the rest of the team and their effort? Ball movement? Protecting the ball? That's all I'm saying.

Patrick McCaw had 19 points off the bench. This is a rookie who didn't get a lot of minutes this post-season, unless it was a blowout. Wheres the explanation for that? Or does Kawhi not being there have something to do with that too? So much so the SAS bench forgot how to defend as well.

You guys need to chill with the excuses. Pop is a proven master of adjustments. He's benched Duncan in the past for the sake of his long term health and found ways to win basketball games. This narrative needs to stop. Kawhi will be back for game 3 probably. Let's see what happens.

Man, you've been looking to discredit Kawhi's impact since he got injured in game 1. Now we're going to act like a Kawhi-less Spurs being able to beat the Rockets (who have ONE star) somehow means they should be able to play well against the Warriors (who have FOUR stars)? Never mind that the Rockets looked like they mailed in that performance anyway. Ok, whatever you say  :smh:.

LOL at "playing a similar brand of Basketball" as a point of argument.

You're comparing the Rockets to a team that 2 MVPs, a scoring champ, a dude who scored 60 points in three quarters, a DPOY candidate for the past 3 years. The only true means of comparison is that both teams have past Shaqtin a fool MVPs.

 at People being all tight about the KD/LMA play when they were defending Zaza

Hypocrites

Stop trying to make sense with a Dubs fan. You would think last year would humble them. Nope

Please save us again King Lebby :smh:

yup spurs would've lost anyway. why even play the series? not like the point of this all is entertainment or something.

new league policy should be to identify ahead of time who the favorite is, and then Tanya Harding the losing teams' best player. let's stop wasting everyone's time with competitive games.

better yet, let's also take the best player from the losing team and give him to the best team for the next season, just to make sure we don't waste our time with competitive series that go past 4 games. think how awful it would be if people actually wanted to watch.

just food for thought. that's how we play pickup at my gym. by the end of the night all 18 people are on the same team and everyone wins, except for the 3 people in the ER.

funny that people are so upset about the warriors having what could be a cake walk to the finals when this been the exact same path in the East for any lebron team for the past 7 years

You serious? Bron being in the "weak" east is almost a weekly discussion on here.

What happened to the old saying "it's not a series until the home team loses?"
That is assuming Kawhi is close to 100% for game 3.

The thing that gets me the most is these ESPN guys going extra hard at LMA and chalking Zaza's up to any and everything else. These guys didn't just start playing basketball yesterday, they both knew what they were doing. Zaza is just a better actor. And I think the NBA should go ahead and suspend LMA for the rest of the playoffs.

Zaza just plays that role as the "dumb foreign big man" who was oblivious. I don't believe it for a second, he's just as good at acting as these soccer players.

just saw the aldridge closeout.

dirty play, but now it has convinced me 100% that zaza's play was intentional. if anything, Aldridge was doing it to prove that zaza was being dirty rather than to injure Durant.

And it would be a lot easier to cover Warriors players coming off screens if their big men weren't allowed to move their feet like offensive linemen.
