While I absolutely hated Durant's decision, I understood it. He gets to play in a free flowing system with great teammates under a well run org in a big market. ****, you can't ask for much more.

Idk man, I would have rather stayed and built something of my own with Russ and them in OKC rather than run towards the quickest path to a ring (supposedly)

If KD wins 3 rings in GS, will his legacy be greater than if he had stayed in OKC and never won anything? Yes. Do I think it would mean more to win 3 in OKC, having to go through GS to get them? Absolutely

the same questions you could have asked lebron before he left cavs.

Cleveland never did and likely never was gonna give LeBron enough to win a championship.

It's really easy to understand, he had a chance to be a part of history and join one of the greatest teams that ever has and ever will exist in the sport of basketball. Hard to tell a ***** he should turn that down but then again this is the same board that thinks ****** should turn down millions to ring chase and then will then criticize them for ring chasing.

_'s texting and **** about clicking up during the season
Bron & the banana boat crew kinda did the same

bron never had as good of rosters in cleveland as kd did in okc pls stop
bron didn't go to the celtics after blowing a 3-1 lead to them either

Lol I never said it was the exact same scenario. Both incidences were unprecedented, and were viewed as b-made. Cavs won 66 games and been to a finals before bron left for Miami. Everybody were expecting bron to go to the finals to play kobe. So the narrative of the cavs didn't give bron enough or nobody were expecting the cavs to do anything is pointless. Plus, they were in the east.

You can't defend one action but attack the other.

Sit down, typical insecure bron fan worried bout who agrees with what.
don't give a F if anyone agrees with me. My mind don't change cause my opinion is not a popular one or in the majority.
Don't care
another personal shot lol
good luck to you when that disability check stops coming in bum
You can't point out someone derailing the topic by making it personal AFTER you pointed out that they are a Lakers fan, which has nothing to do with the topic.

KD was never gonna get over the gsw hump if he stayed in OKC. Lets be serious.

the cavs gave lebron enough to go to the finals & consistently win 60+ games.

How do you know this? They were literally 2 minutes away from doing so.

You gotta pull up after that
is what It is man.. I expected shots like that. Don't bother me. You share something with nt got to know it's going to get brought up in an argument by someone who don't know how to act right over the net. Learned that a long time ago. I only share what I wouldn't mind being thrown back at me.
I've shared bout my illness in other threads. No big Thing..

famb in almost every sports debate, there's no absolute proof, so I guess you can I say I don't know it. Not sure whether you were trying to be technical or not.

But imo idt they would have gotten over the hump bc they played out of character to get the 3-1 lead, esp Waiters & Robertson played. Also, idt any team led by russ will win at the highest level. Gsw played like crap and idt it was bc of the Thunder either. Burry was moving like he had sumthing shoved up his a & dray was completely disengaged. There's more but I'm on mobile lol

I know my situation doesn't compare but it reminds me of my situation with dat bum enphan (sp?)

I selfishly would've liked Durant to stay in OKC just so there's a little more parity.

Basketball wise, the move was a no brainer. Playing with Curry, Thompson, & Green for a championship >>>> playing with Westbrook.

same.
Warriors games were must watch.. The entertainment value was on another level. Now not so much.

Curry and the warriors in general more fun to watch without Kd for me...

You take basketball too serious. Nothing to hate about what KD did.
I had no problem with KD leaving OKC and aside from The Decision and the championship-esque celebration before playing a single game no problem with Lebby leaving the Cavs to join the Heat.

Both of them wanted to maximize their opportunity to win a championship and felt the best way to do that was to leave their original teams.

KG has mentioned several times how he regretted being "loyal" to Minnesota for his prime years and not pursuing opportunities to better his chances at a title.

Bron and KD get slandered on here for forming or joining super teams but Melo was also slandered for not joining up with Rose and the Bulls in Chicago.

So it's damned if you do, damned if you don't.

finally somebody else said it  everytime a laker fan has an opinion somebody who does not agree with the opinion brings up that the person is a laker fan lol

Non-laker fans are getting their turn and they should enjoy it, because they know it won't be long too long til the Lakers top the billboard charts yet again.
