I told my co-worker (who is gay) about how guys are wearing these now, and he made a disgusted face and said "wtf is wrong with straight people" I had no response.

To expand on the "dad hat" hate I think dudes more so hate the demographic that wear it as a trend now as opposed to the actual article of clothing.
