Cavs gone just end up with Kyrie and nobody else after next season. Brazy.

Paul George can be a rim protector in terms of being able to at least stick some wings. It'll help Thompson

Love is expendable though he isn't "what's wrong with Cleveland".. don't think those two things need to be related here

Love isn't the problem, their ****** bench of never was or has been players is the problem

Can't play guys like Richard Jefferson or Deron Williams and expect to compete with GSW

I would argue that their defense in general is the biggest problems. Their best defender the entire series was Richard f'in Jefferson.
The corpses of DWill and Korver got roasted daily. There was little to no rim protection. LeBron was nearly non existent on defense.
They badly need a center that can block shots.

How crappy must it feel to be a clipper fan right now? Guy grows up in your city and claims you as his favorite team, you're in the midst of the greatest run in franchise history fielding a superteam and he'd still rather go to a bottom 3 team that's years away from truly competing

You tried.

Make it down for me famb. If PG13 wants to go home, why is he only limiting himself to Lakers? I know he loves Kobe & all, but what gives?
He was a clip fan growing up

Hell if we doing 1 year rentals I think something like Wes Johnson and Austin Rivers / Jamal Crawford or something works.

But of course there are teams with much better packages than what LAC would be able to give which is why I said in theory yeah, but hell nah

another eastern conference rival gonna bend over for the cavs and give them pg13 for jr smith and iman shumpert

Sixers need to get in on this. I'm good with giving up Covington, Okafor and next year's first rounder for a year to convince PG to Trust The Process. It's worth it.

Yes, the reason he didn't commit long term is money. Every year he can earn more so why lock into a 4/5 yr deal? Also keeps pressure on front office.
IMO bron leaving is FAR FAR FAR more likely than those wild trades just for the simple fact that he'll be a free agent after next season and there's been a ton of people that have alluded to it so there's at least something tangible there.

All bets were off with Bron once he won a chip w/ the cavs. There's a reason why he didn't commit long term to the Cavs.

Actually I could see the Cavs doing this as a last ditch effort to keep Bron even though this doesn't really move the needle with them and GS. At the very least they can get rid of Love's deal and he won't have to pay nearly as much repeater tax going forward when both Bron and PG bounce.
