My question is HOW didn't he die.. And HOW the hell was he able to have a conversation without sounding like straight mush on the phone... lol TV is hilarious

Im sitting here watching t his exact scene and had to come to NT like son if he went into cardiac arrest I would have believed it..

The orgy scene music was find to me. I mean it was meant to empathize the bad trip she was having more than what was going on around her

I mean what was going on around her wasn't very horrific. Just some escorts getting donged down all over the place

Someone made a good point with how ani was acting after taking the Molly, the way she felt definitely isn't from a product of molly. I don't like how they portrayed that with her, she was looking out of it and sluggish and even at times aware of what was going on with a fuzzy picture. Molly would have her bouncing and feeling good with a high.

Yeah it's more like she got ruffied rather than took MDMA

I'm buckling up for the last two episodes

The Mexican cartel about to come in to play

Some of Frank's men or all will most likely bite the bullet. The way they operate is so reckless

You can throw up spray molly and be lucid enough to save a woman, fight a man, kill another, then run away while dodging bullets?

Yall are stupid thinking just cause they told the pros that it was pure Molly that it's really that....

It could have been anything. And remember those girls had been to those parties before. Ani hadn't.

im guessing thats why she was f'd up and the others girls were chillin giving up the guts..wasn't about that life.

...but she was about THAT LIFE.

need to reddit this season so far because honestly, this **** has been a bit complicated to me lol

So I just finished rewatching S1 and the biggest difference I see between it and S2 is that this season is simply trying to pack too many details into 8 episodes. There is A LOT going on this season and it feels like some details get glossed over, while others get harped on. An example is Riggins being gay--why did they go out of their way to focus on this when it seemingly has no impact on anything other than telling his story? Like they spent time on it but never developed it into anything important, if that makes sense.

With S1, the story was very straightforward and linear. There were definitely twists and turns, but we could see where the story was going. Season 2 is basically a cluster**** of information, plots lines, back stories, etc. And some of them don't seem to matter to one another or to where the story is going. Basically it's harder for the viewer to grasp what's happening, why it matters and where the story is going. And that isn't necessarily a bad thing because I love this season. But I can see why folks aren't feeling it as much.

i just hope the payoff will be worth me rewatching episodes just to catch the dialogue. I want my mind to be blown.

Good episode definitely picking up for the Finale. I think the substance had to be some form of liquid X but def not molly. Hallucinations aren't common on molly but I have seen some girls get so trippy off of it (mostly socially and spiritually concise girls) that they relive or deeply delve into trauma they have had in their life. Kind of sad scene because low key more women then you know have had trauma like that in their life that comes up when their drunk or intoxicated. Even the innocent girls that you know that haven't let it consume their lives with bad decisions bring those emotions out at certain times. I have seen it first hand so scene kinda had me in feels. However it was an EXTREMELY on point scene of how a swinger situation really is. Sex everywhere and the music was just a cherry on the top. This season is growing on me. However season 1 IMO is still better.

Didn't Ray call his ex the next day after the bender?

This could be true, but the way I remember the scene, it seemed to be all in one so it looked like the same night. The way I see it, the cocaine could have been sobering him up, and then he ended up destroying his place in a rage, and then calmly called his ex after getting all of the anger out of his system. No idea as I have not been exposed to that amount of scotch, cocaine, cigarettes, and beer...

Yup. Not to mention, spending more time on the subplots/personal issues than on 'the crime'. It's easy to forget it's a detective show sometimes. That said, I still think it's great television...don't know why some are so set on bashing it. Guess some folks thought season 1 was the second coming or something.

I got through episode one, and no lie, it was like watching it for the first time.

I picked up on so much missing info. I need to pay closer attention, but I appreciate it not being so dumbed down though. You can't watch this and do other things, I know that, I know better, and did it anyway.

Show was so hard to follow initially, at least it felt that way, but I wasn't fully committed. I'm committed, now.

Show is flames though

I've enjoyed this season, even tho there are things I'm confused about. Like Stan. I don't even know who the **** Stan is, or why he's important, or why he's dead.

I'll rewatch every ep once all 8 are out to try and catch all the pieces I've missed. But in the end, I suspect this season will be similar to The Wire season 2 where it was held to a standard it was never gonna match but in time will ultimately hold up well in the totality of the series. Be it 4-5-6 seasons, whatever. 2 could be the "low-point" but still be really solid as a standalone.

I've enjoyed it as well, it's had its rough patches IMO but overall pretty enjoyable season. It's got me looking forward to the last few episodes for sure

The weird thing is I honestly don't care at all about any of the major questions

-Who killed Casper

-Who is the Birdman

I just think they got a bit ambitious with all the storylines, the characters and the scope of it all. Mucks things up and is pretty tough to navigate or follow. At the same time it's been a challenge throughout to be engaged by the characters themselves outside of Colin

I honestly forgot all about the Birdman to be honest

I wonder if that even gets revealed at this point
