First we have pitching but no boring.
Now we have hiring but no pitching.
If we can somehow hover around .500 around the all-star game it'll be alright.
 
We are only 7 games back from NL East first place. Still only May

I have a faith in our pitching. They will bounce back strong

Wheeler looking more comfortable. Now he needs to finish strong this time
 
Good run support for Wheeler but Wheeler still cannot finish his job at the end
 
Conforto has been absolutely crushing it this season. Crazy how the guys we were worried most about are playing great and the rest are on the DL.
 
granderson is not on the dl

conforto should not move from the leadoff spot. waiting on pitching to get healthy

His OPS is 1.138 and Bryce Harpers is 1.140

Conforto should be in All Star contention with those numbers. Absurd. Sucks he's going to sit when Cespedes returns.

Granderson will be on the bench. Conforto can play a decent center.

Last night was my first live W of the season. Hopefully many more to come! Conforto's second homerun was a beauty.
 
There is zero chance Conforto is on the bench. He's literally been one of the five best hitters in the league.

Curtis is done so he can go that way --->

Cespedes is our best option in center.

Ces is more comfy in left, he's said that many a times. Conforto can play ctr. Bruce in Right and Granderson on the bench

I wonder what we could get if we trade Duda & Granderson. Probably not much given Grandersons underwhelming performance this year (and last).
 
Collins not only wasted Salas last night, he was left in too long tonight. Poor bullpen management yet again. Gsellman had 84 pitches after five and was pulled.
 
The bullpen is going to lose this team another game. Can't sweep the worst team in baseball :lol:
 
Just shows you how bad Terry is, he has one job.

Gsellman had to start the 7th inning at 86 pitches, and they blow a 5-1 lead immediately.

The way the pen is set up, Mets offense has to score 7 runs or a start has to go 7-8.

that's it?!!!  finally a good outing from him and the way the pen's been, I agree you have to let him go out for 7th.  did they need to pinch hit for him or something at least?
