I hope the gameplay mechanics are better, cuz based on the player animations and details alone, that's a no-go for me.

Take Fed for example... his BH, on his takeback, he has both hands on the grip (as if he was going to hit a two-handed BH), but when he starts swinging, he takes his hand off of the grip and hits his normal one-handed BH. No one sets up a one-handed BH like that.

Another thing... that frame shape looks like a Yonex.

For JMac, they have him hitting his FH with what looks like a semi-western FH grip (?!) and doing a step-in on his service motion, which he doesn't do. They did the same for Andre's service motion.

But this... this is where I draw the line... Andre with no TournaGrip and wearing Oscillates?!

Maybe this is a beta-test issue... and maybe they'll sort these details out in the final release... who knows.

Lord, I hope this is a beta footage. Because some of the animations are terrible.

Its funny i picked up top spin 4 2 weeks before the 2k25 announcement, but after watching that footage I may be content with TS4

Plus im afraid this will be riddled with microtransactions

I always say Anazing Tennis was the only game to get a good likeness on his strokes. It’s so sad. Unfortunately Topspin 2K25 looks awful. I’m sure it will be discounted soon enough.

i ordered the green pair yesterday from BSTN. I used a 5% discount code they give when you sign up for their emails, I think they were $166 shipped. Since I got a pair for retail they'll release everywhere in the US in 2 weeks and end up on sale lol.

Glad I ordered my size 12 when they launched, it sold out almost immediately. Still no blue pair yet though. Now they restocked.
