*2013 NFC North Trash Talk Thread™ ® --> Lions Hire Jim Caldwell as Head Coach.

Houston is trying to play through injury only reasonable explanation for him fall off so fast.

Errrbody tho :smh:

I refuse to believe Nhamdi wouldn't help or even Eric Wright when he was available

Vikes fans: what are your impressions of Patterson so far(I know we've only seen him in a limited role til recently) but I think he's getting better weekly with his route running and considering that was a huge knock on him coming out I think he's developing pretty well. Those two drops he had were huge but the fact that they are trying to get him the ball finally is a good look(21 targets in past 2 games).

Doesn't help the young man with our QB situation being what it is and he's probably going to have a new qb throwing to him next year. Can't really say much more about his return game, he's got that on lock. Just hope he's not just another Devin Hester... but from the looks of it, he can definitely become a solid WR given the time and decent QB.

Xavier balled yesterday, sad to see him go out with a concussion.. hope he can play next week.

Where the hell has Shariff been? :frown: dude needs to put in some work in the offseason, he's def not making all the teams who passed on him look bad.

With a few more games to go, I'd say as of right now two of the three first rounders have shown some good signs for the future(Rhodes mostly in this past game, aside from that he's been pretty inconsistent, but our whole secondary has).

Definitely looking forward to the draft man, this season has been unbearable. I can't wait til we get rid of Ponder..still can't believe we reached a first on this dude.

All in all a terrible showing for the NFC north. The Vikings defense is in need of a major overhaul, we need secondary help really badly.. only bright spot on defense this year has been Robison. Idk how our OLine got so terrible in a year, they were solid run blockers a year ago and completely suck this year, Matt Khalil been really disappointing.

This team better have their **** together once the new stadiums built, I can't take much more of this flip flopping between winning and losing seasons. The whole coaching staff needs the axe, never liked Frazier for us and Musgrave is a complete idiot.

Sorry for the rant, can't really sleep tonight.

^ I love CP. So dynamic, but you're right...The QB situation isn't helping and because of that the playcalling hasn't been favorable in getting CP in the mix. He's coming along very nicely and they've slowly filtered him into more snaps. Probably because of injuries, but still.

Very excited about Rhodes. He really showed out on Sunday. There was a play down the sideline where he had given the WR cushion, but was able to reach out, while diving backwards, to swat the ball. Perfectly played and it was something he struggled with early. He's finally adjusting to the NFL speed and game and it's showing. Kid will be a stud.

Floyd worries me, but that defensive front is so stacked. Hoping he's just learning and gets STRONG this offseason.Still hope.

This whole team meeting business gave me a bad feeling then hearing Lo-Jack say they don't hold Stafford accountable for anything finalized it for me.

This team is about to implode.

Losing to an Aaron Rodgerless Packer team on Thanksgiving is the last bit of fuse.

I like Jimmy, I really do but he just ain't head coach material right now.

This team with a legitimate head coach is Super Bowl contender especially this year where its wide open.

Naw but I'll bet you 20 there isn't a Champs in America open today.

 you would lose cuz champs at willowbrook is releasing a pack at 8pm today

The D-Line is night and day with Ziggy.

I've always liked Chris Houston but maybe he just isn't healthy and sucks right now because I saw more decent coverage than I have all season.

I hate these bastards just when I want to give up they reel me back in all in the same game. :smh:

To be excited for my team being able to play on Thanksgiving every year, but to not see a win in 10 years would be somethin'.

Congrats, I guess.

When Kevin Ogletree pulled in a one-handed touchdown catch to complete the scoring with less than five minutes to play, the Lions held a 563-56 edge in total yards. 563-56! Reminder: This was a real game between two actual NFL franchises competing for victory.

:wow:

I was at the casino Wednesday night and the out of town Pack fans were getting pretty liberal with their words.... WHERE YALL AT NOW, HUH????? That's right, back at home thinking about next year.

What do you mean where are we at? We've all been here waiting for Aaron Rodgers to come back. No one is surprised that the Packers are struggling with him not playing. Everyone is well aware the Packers are the best in the division with Rodgers, which has been shown in years past, and that it will be very tough to overcome our defenses shortcomings with 3 different back ups. One of which came off of the practice squad the week of being thrown into a game.

So yeah, still here. Hoping to win out now that he is back, while you choke.
