Kyrie Irving wants out of Cleveland, according to Stephen A. Smith and his close personal friends.

The Cleveland Cavaliers are in turmoil as the enter the final stretch of the regular season. The chemistry problems that plagued them at the start of the 2014-15 season seem to be back at the worst possible time, as no one is clicking and the team is getting blown out at random.

You never know which Cavaliers team is going to show up — and lately it has been a consistently bad one.

As we’ve learned in the hot take world we live in, where there is smoke there is usually a bus full of burning puppies. That’s the calling card of Stephen A. Smith, who has some pretty grim news when it comes to how well Kyrie Irving is digging playing for the Cavaliers.

Stephen A. Smith spouted off about what he has been hearing surrounding Kyrie Irving in Cleveland — and it’s not good for Cavs fans.

“Dating back to last year, I’ve been told that Kyrie Irving ain’t too happy being in Cleveland,” Smith stated on First Take this morning. “The situation is not ideal for him. I don’t know the particulars, I haven’t spoken to him personally. It’s something that I’ve been hearing for months; that under ideal circumstances he would prefer to be someplace other than Cleveland.”

This isn’t the first time that we’ve heard rumors about Kyrie being unhappy in Cleveland. Before LeBron James returned in the summer of 2014, there were rumors that Irving wanted out and wasn’t going to re-sign with the team. That whole fiasco ended with a max deal for Irving, but the problems seem to be persisting.

He has clashed with LeBron James on numerous occasions, dating back to last year when following a blowout loss he was called out by LeBron for not passing. That’s been a major problem for Irving, as his assist totals have never been great, and it’s starting to effect the offense in Cleveland. He’s also defensively challenged, which has been an issue that has shown no signs of changing.

If Irving wants out, there are a handful of teams that would take him on. But he’s in the best position to win in Cleveland, and moving anywhere else would be transparently personal.

Gary Payton was that defensive unicorn. Hence the name The Glove. Currently there is no Gary Payton level PG on the defensive end. Wall is great on defense but not because he's lockdown on every possession. CP3 the same. More like pest who can occasionally lockdown with steals and disrupting passing lanes type play.

Irving wants out? Ha ha ha

LeBron is the best thing that ever happen to his career. Hopefully if he leaves he moves to SG also.

Steph Curry has broken NBA 2k

"To be completely honest, we are still looking for ways to better translate his game into NBA 2K," says Wang. "He's a ‘rule breaker' when it comes to jump shooting ... he becomes a problem in the video game world where we've been trying to train our gamers [to know] that certain types of shots should be rewarded versus others."

"We're going to have to invest even more time in future iterations to really let Steph be Steph in future versions of NBA 2K."

In the past there'd be no problem. You could take steph like shots with worse players and it'd be fine but they've recently tried to make 2K less arcadey. So when you have a player like Steph who actually takes and makes these shots now, it's kinda hard because youre trying to move away from such things being possible in your game. And you cant just give one player such ability because then it ruins the balance.

but wouldnt that be true to life? isnt the nba balance kind of off? who in the L is doing what wardell is doing? it'd actually be more realistic to just make it so he can do it. and then also so your myplayer can make it.

Don't guys still do the zig zag 3 point cheese with just about anyone? Haven't played in a while

They should just give Steph a signature skill/badge or rating. "Contested 3" or "shots out of offensive rhythm" rating. It should def be set to 99.

I always knew Kyrie wouldnt enjoy playing with Bron. He wants to be the star, doesnt wanna share the spotlight
