2015 DETROIT AUTOSHOW

Bentley has officially announced the name of its upcoming utility model at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Set to debut later this year, Bentley's SUV will wear the name 'Bentayga'.

Bentley explains that the SUV's name was inspired by the company's namesake as well as the natural world; Taiga, the world's largest transcontinental snowforest, resides to the North of Bentley's HQ while the Roque Bentayga rock formation is to the south in the Canary Islands.

"Bentayga is a name that reflects what we know our SUV will do better than any other car in the world - combine the best automotive luxury with outstanding performance to take the Bentley experience to new environments," said Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman and CEO of Bentley Motors.

“The Bentley SUV will be the most exclusive, most luxurious and most expensive SUV in the world,” Duerheimer said. “The level of luxury will be extraordinary.”

Welp...

Is a new gtr/vette going to be unveiled? Great cars being revealed so far, but the gtr/vette would shut down the show.

Porsche 911 Targa GTS

Launching in the US in late-April, 2015, for $132,800, plus a $995 destination charge, this high-performance Targa benefits from all of the goodies from Porsche's GTS line. That gives it a 3.8-liter flat-six boasting 424 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of twist, and the choice of either a seven-speed PDK or seven-speed manual. The model also gets the Sport Chrono package, PASM, 20-inch wheels and a sport exhaust. Picking the PDK means the Targa 4 GTS can hit a top speed of 188 miles per hour and sprint to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. Opting for the manual makes the run to 60 take a few more ticks at 4.5 seconds and scarcely cuts the top speed to 187 mph.

Toyota dropped the ball on the 16 Tacoma IMO. I was hoping for something better looking and not so similar to the last generation.

It's not as simple as V6 just like the BMW I8 isn't as simple as just having a 1.5L turbo inline 3 engine.

This right here is very pretty.

Rendering of the Ford GT Concept in gulf livery is smokin

Kind of reminds me of the LaFerrari with the vent on the side.
