ah good looking. threw me off when the challenger in the photos was a RT and a 392.i believe they made srt8 its own brand
It's the opposite. The oldest SRT Challengers go for 30K+ these days. Meanwhile my dad's 07 5 series is worth 18K with less than 100K miles
STOP... your comparing a classic collectable to your fathers run of the mill 5 series. Apple to apples would be to compare to an 07 Charger with 100k miles. Which is worth about $10K used.
Y'all actually like these cars?
American cars are trash
If you want more bang for your buck, go German.
These cars don't hold their value at all
370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque out of a 5.7 liter in this day and age is very disappointing.
Huh? did you not read what I quoted?
a 60K German car is worth 18K, while the 40-45K Challenger/Charger SRT is worth 30K+. Which held its value? I swear some of you just love to argue.

The KBB Value of an equivalent 2007 SRT is 17K.
And the 5 series he mentioned is worth 12.8K which further illustrates his point.
Do they come in manual transmission. I know the Challenger does, high end, however the fact that Dodge refuses to release a manual transmission Charger/Challenger makes it kind of meh.
Looks good though.
the 392 is gonna hold it's value nicely.
Still don't understand why Dodge is keeping the Charger. It's a damn 4 door sports car, who does that?
SRT versions are rumored have the supercharged 6.2 Liter Hellcat Hemi with more horsepower than the 640HP Viper, but the Viper will maintain a better power to weight ratio.
I'm going to keep my SRT8 Magnum, and will be buying the 2015 392 R/T Challenger (pre-owned). I love that Dodge stayed true to their heritage by placing the largest N/A V8 engine under the R/T badge, while the brand new supercharged Hemi falls under the SRT group.
Dodge nailed it with this line up.
srt8 maggy. = i cant find one on the streets of nyc to save my life... joints are impossible to locate

Look this was simply my point
2007 BMW 5 Series 100K (What model?) $18K/$60K = 30%
2007 SRT-8 100K miles $17K/$45K = 37%
Which is a far cry from $30k+/45k = 66%+
The depreciation of the two vehicles is actually not that far part when you look at real numbers. Thats all I was saying.
