Yea... do you think he was missing switches or basically saying f it?

Kinda seemed like the latter but I dunno

He was just saying **** it. When Bron misses switches of Fs up he usually yells at one of his teamates or blames it on them, he didn't even do that.

He had energy to start the game but after a while you can tell he just wasnt feeling it anymore.

After the 100th KD dunk he was probly like "3-1 comeback. We'll see em on Sunday."

It all goes back to his workload.

You can't play 45 minutes all out 100% of the time. Physically impossible. You have to actively "rest" by guarding a spot up shooter or something like that. Catch your breath while the ball is in play. We see Harden does this a lot. Kobe did it too during that crazy stretch before he tore his Achilles.

The Warriors just move around so much on every single possession that there's no way for you do that without giving up an easy shot.

So, missed rotation here, get beat on a cut there. Lazy offensive possession where you dribble the air out of the ball, etc. he's trying to catch his breath

WE'RE GETTING LIT TONIGHT!

What's the narrative tonight fellas?

As an NBA fan, I really hope the Cavs win this game just to see some competition. Watching GS wash teams is fun, but gets boring fast.

Lebron is gassed, he's racked up way more minutes than anyone is age ever has, on top of that he's been to 7 straight finals. However that's no excuse for that effort on defense, getting beat playing honest defense, fine, standing there watching someone drive the lane multiple times is inexcusable.

Lebron was able to rest/cheat on defense against the Pacers,Celtics, and Toronto. Outside of having to guard PG every now and then he didn't really have to use too much energy on Crowder, Carol, and Tucker.
He tried to take the easy route out and guard Green so he could still rest and cheat but Green hustles more than the guys he meet in the eastern conference finals.

Lebron is going to have to stop trying to conserve his self and ball out.... also Thompson and Love cannot play at the same time this series Cavs lineup down the stretch needs to be
Kyrie
Deron/Jefferson
Lebron
Thompson
Jr/Shump

Outside of stealing some minutes here and there Krover and Love should not play a bunch of minutes this series.... or Cavs are going to get swept.

It wasn't just him though. The entire team was missing switches and letting backdoor cuts happen. That Javale alley was wide open.

Like shoeking has been saying for months, their defense is super sus. And we all know the saying, "Offense wins games, but defense wins championships."

What lineup you suggest? Thompson/Love can't defend in transition together and was too slow to the boards. Krover couldn't hold anyone on the court. Cle needs to play players that can guard multiple positions Krover played 20 mins.....Love played 34 minutes they won't win with them two on the court that long

it's like watching kobe/lebron as yrs went on and it was clear that kobe didn't have that motor to guard bron for majority of the gm anymore. even though as a competitor he wanted to check him from the jump, physically it was too draining. no way can/should bron be on him like that

oh 100%. Thought we were specifically talking about Bron tho

But yea, as a unit they haven't defended at a high level in over 8 months.

once the cavs lose i really hope people don't fall back on the "lebron is tired from all the years of basketball" narrative.

this dude wasn't looking tired against Indiana, Toronto or celtics and now all of the sudden father time is catching up with him?

it aint age, it aint the mileage...his team is just clearly outmatched

That'll be just one of the multitude of excuses. Even though they played like 9 games in 2 months.

They sit Love and they give up way too many boards. You don't beat GS by going small with a bunch of players who couldn't defend a crash test dummy.

Kyrie

Bron

Love

TT

are necessary for them to win. Put anyone not named Deron or Shump at the 2 guard position down the stretch.

Deron is washed and Shump is trash. I'd rather see James Jones on the court.

Korver and JR space the floor and RJ can be trusted with the ball in his hands to not do something stupid.

bruh was averaging like 30/10/8 in the past three series, everyone was talking about this is his best playoff basketball ever, and now the "goat" is tired?
