I think it's because when you see them on foot you don't notice the gingham print and the dark grey on the midsole gets muted.
On foot all you notice is the White, Blue & Red....which pretty much always works.

haha that one took me a while to figure out.
it just refers to the type of jeans NTers are "known" for wearing, when the jeans are big and cover like half the kicks.

As mentioned, here are the pix.
The close up shows the paint overspray, onto the swoosh even.
I only liked them when I saw them originally last year as a Sample.
But now that I have them in person, I Love Them!
Definitely will go down as a Classic.
