I would rather save up a bit more money and actually get started on a house instead of putting money into something you don't even own. The concept of"leasing" things is stupid imo.

.....honestly i love the cost of living down south. Everybodythat's telling you "ohh that's chump change", "good luck blah blah blah" ask em where they live

I go to UT in Austin, TX, and my rent is $1450 a mo. for a 2 br 2.5 bath. Our last electricity bill was $180 and the internet bill was around $40....

last place I saw in the BRONX was $1100 for a One Bedroom

I don't think you can get something decent in NYC for less

I have my own 2/2, w/ W&D, for only $699 mnthly. lol in Tampa.

..And its in a very nice complex.
