are they water proof or did you water proof them?

Used mine for snow feet stayed dry every time.

No proofing on mine and they look better IMO after you beat them up a little. Just took a couple pics.

It's not as stiff as it looks and it's the same thickness as the knit so you should be fine with your 2.0 knit size.
