How's the length on Levis? I know that's an odd question but sometimes 32 is just right or too long for me with some brands lol.

Length is pretty standard from my experience. But to be safe, they shouldn't be hard to find in stores for you to try on.

541s but too roomy for me. 520s were perfect because they were roomy in the thighs and had a perfect amount of taper for me.

Try the 501CT's.   501's (higher rise, button fly) from the top block down to the knee, then tapers from there. 

I have a pair of 29x32 black selvedge available... if anyone is looking.   I bought 30x32 and 29x32, only kept the 30's and waited too long to return.
