AIM screen name problems. HELP!

This has been an ongoing problem for a few months now. My computer froze a few months ago and I restarted immediately. After the restart, I couldn't signon 1 specific screen name. When I try to sign on, I see "Connecting", "Transferring" and it stops at "Negotiating". The whole AIMprogram freezes. It's only on my computer. I've tried signing onto that screen name on other computers and it's fine. I reinstalled a bunch oftimes and I even deleted the AIM folder in Program Files (in C: drive). I can't even link screen names onto that S/N without it freezing.

Right now I'm using Trillian and I just don't like it. I have a feeling this rarely ever happens to anyone but I need help. Thanks in advance.

sorry man don't know how to help. I suggest hitting up the AOL tech. support with this one.

i sent a complaint in but they specifically said they never send back any responses. not sure if i sent it to aol tech support though.
