So I managed to not only cop online for my lil man, but when I was standing in line at FTL to see if I could get my own pair, they also had a 4 in hand. I was like F it. Grab them to see his face. Love this kid. He gon Be sneaker head for life. Already talking about the shadows. Happy as F to be able to bless that kid with his fave colored 1’s. We’re gonna rock these on school drop offs for sure.

I have a co-worker who has a pair of the 1.5s and thought they were same color blocking as the Royals. Just now realizing the heel is black.After striking out on Snkrs and FCFS at Niketown, I tried my local house of hoops as a last ditch effort and was surprised they had pairs left. For some reason I thought these would look more like the 1.5 Returns but I was wrong.

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing. Chicago’s will always be the OG’s, but these “Game Royals” were a nice surprise by Jordan Brand. After this, Shadows, period, then the rest of the colorways for ‘18 leaked seem like oversaturation.. hoping for a surprise OG metallic.

Chicagos are better to me, aside from the history of it, but for the fact that I prefer the color red over blue and the white tongue.
As far as the "quality and leather" between the two, they are pretty much identical, but I don't make a living rating shoe materials so there is that.

Cobbler and a pair of white ying yangs, lasers, or black toes can fix that for not too much of a pocket dent.. assuming you already own the donor pair.
