I did. They were pretty proper. Even the ‘02 was solid.

I would love to see how they do a ‘92 Retro.

So I have to call a shoe a certain name to cater to the young crowd? I dont think so. If the young crowd gets that confused then thats a problem with lack of knowledge about said shoe itself. If todays younger crowd needs a nickname to identify a specific J then that is fine. But that dont mean I have to follow that crowd. If calling a shoe a "playoff 7" or a black and red, or "charcoal 7" confuses anyone, then damn.

Next thing you know, we will be getting 7 releases with little dinosaurs on the sides of them.

no, but if everyone knows what raptor VII's are, why act extra to zag? it would be like refusing to acknowledge Sylvester Stallone's Rambo 1 movie as anything other than "First Blood"....

like relax b, da whole world calls that Movie Rambo 1, if you brought up "first Blood" people wouldn't know what you're talking about, but they would know "Rambo 1", even though its not da actual name of da movie...same goes wit da Raptors.

There’s more context to it than the name of Rambo’s first outing because what Charcoal 7’s are usually referred to are inaccurate from a historical perspective. Raptors as a team didn’t exist when Charcoal’s were created. Tinker spicing up Mike’s ‘92 signature with purple on top of Bulls red and West African tribal pattern should get more credit design wise than being synonymous with a mid mediocre franchise. We don’t even call the Grape 5’s “Hornets” and those have every reason to be referred to as such. Black and Red 7’s ain’t Raptors B. CHARCOAL 7’s.

NO ONE calls em that thou...everywhere you have to buy em have em listed as raptors and its not even close.... and there's little to no actual charcoal on em anymore either..raptors actually encapsulates what da prominent colors are.
