While I'm not a big fan of MMA myself just based off of entertainment factors, I'm pretty sure there are more deaths in boxing over a 10 year span than there is in MMA.

No matter how advanced the human race may become, barbaric pleasures are still inherent in some people.

It's why football is America's favorite sport.
It's why people overpay for ppv boxing and mma fights.
It's why when a fight breaks out, people watch as opposed to walking away.

I believe humans have gotten so far from what made us humans in this unattainable goal of being advanced. I don't encourage violence at all, but I'll be damned if I don't get excited when I see a football player get a clean knockout hit on an opposing player. I enjoy a mayweather type fight, but I'll take a 1st round Ko any day.
