Any Dental Hygienists on NT ?

I saw this listed under the salary thread a few nights ago and was wondering who on here is in the field....

my fiance is a dental hygentists

it's predominantly females in the field

there was 1 guy in her graduating class for dental hygiene

she works 4 days a week, 32 hours a week which is considered full time at her office because the office is only staffed w/ hygentists and assistants Mondaythrough Thursday

she got a job at a private practice right after she graduated w/ her associates when she was 20 and started out making $24 an hour...roughly $40,000 a year

i would guess that equate to $40ish and hour somewhere like NYC

the only is there's not a lot of room for growth in that field w/ out more education...she has her bachelor's and wants to start on her masters nextyear

My mom is one, its basically a female field, she makes $38 an hour though, been doing it for years, in the NJ NY area it ranges like 28-40 an hour.

what if you already have your bachelors? any way you can get into a program without starting all over again?
