Currently I started my security job, which isnt bad sitting on my *+# making money. I was wondering if anyone in the new jersey or new york area is working for armored security and got their gun license, because that is what im planning to do. If so what are the steps you need to take to aqcuire this. Also if anyone has gone further than a regular security gaurd and turned it into a career or got to be a law enforcement officer, all opinions are welcome thanks

no they don't ...and you have to start off as a driver. For Brinks fulltime, they start you off at 12 bucks and hr as a driver, and armored guards get 14hr

it's cool to get a gun license and all, but it's really garbage pay .. and you have to work for like 8 years just to reach 44k a year.

living in that area, what you should do is get a gun license and some martial arts certification, and become a bodyguard.

there's a lot more money in that.

my friend does it, sometimes rappers even bring him with them to canada or california or wherever, with some nice per diem money to buy kicks.

I'm waiting on positions to open up for airport security, wouldn't mind patrolling terminals and checking out all these cute ladies traveling and escorting them.

Stringent laws in NYS artificially inflates da salary of armed guards...

So their paper is straight....good idea for a young cat tryin to get paper.

Gotta have a clean record thou, cuz cops are super discriminatory when it

Comes to issuing permits...
