Atlantic City .. still a dump?

Havent been to AC in manyyy years. .last time I went, was def. trending downhill.. I heard that there were 4 casinos closed last year, has 2015 been any better for AC?

Only point of going to AC is if you want to gamble. The beach and boardwalk are trash. I used to go like every summer when I was in my teens.

I never want to see the place again

It's awful...was up there for work back in march for a couple of days. Completely desolate. I'm not even kidding.

There is literally NO reason to visit.

What happened to AC? It use to be the ****.

Over expansion of hotels in a terrible market...with no foresight, and Sandy.

The whole city is in shambles.

Place is a dump and people are trashy. I had the misfortune of living in south nj for a bit, and AC was the only attraction around, was sick of it the first month down there.

Towns prime was back in the 1940s-60s when it served as a beach resort town for the wealthy.

Once casinos moved in, it was a steady decline to which recovery is nowhere in sight.

If you're headed to the beach, check out Margate (bay side too), much nicer bars and restaurants with a more upscale crowd.

Live about 45 mins from AC, THIS is the truth. Revel was god damn beautiful but like you said for the location it was just destined to fail. Another poorly planned casino in AC. Place sucks overall but some of the casinos are still popping. Harrahs Pool and Borgata is worth checking out if you are there.

You know when you drive off the main strip in Vegas, and you realize how bad the smaller casinos are. Yeah, it's 10x worse than that.
