Kevin P is still there? Don't get me wrong, I like KP, but is he unable to get any other gigs? Is he still going to be doing that show in his mid 30s?  Did he at least get to finger bang layla or munnie? I think I'm going to put my life on hold until I get answers to these important questions.

You know, I was actually wondering the same thing when they were going through all those different co-hosts once Olivia left.

I would have been completely fine if Sara became the permanent cohost though

There's a short shelf life for co-hosts on shows like that. Producers know that, so they don't give them much money, knowing full well they'll bounce for greener pastures. As long as they have a stable lead host, the show is in good hands. He probably gets a nice check and that's that.

Adam Carolla has mentioned this in regards to Loveline (the TV show). MTV producers made them have a female co-host and none of them ever stuck around for more than a season. Carolla and Dr. Drew didn't want them, and they'd just move on when those chicks got picked up for other gigs. It didn't hurt the show at all.

Kevin Perriera is the only one who knows what he is talking about. Eye candy is replaceable, someone who is consistent with their knowledge of the show's subject matter is not.

He's not in his 30's. He looks old for his age. He's only 28.

The eye candy is what takes away from G4 in addition to the bad programming. You don't need a bunch of broads in tight clothing to keep viewers. They looked really bad during E3 because of the inability of their female hosts to talk about gaming or even show interest in the product especially Sara Jean Underwood.

Its a +!!+%% network overall. He can do better.

I agree that he knows what he's talking about.  Olivia was hot but there were sooooo many times when she would stumble over her words or ask poorly worded questions when talking to guests.

But when Kevin "grows up" will he at least graduate to say, Engadget or Techcrunch?

Exactly what Furrell was saying. I used to watch AOTS when the Kevin from digg was hosting and Kev P came along and he knew he was gonna get hated on so he played a Dirtylicous card and put up a photo of him that people could photoshop and the person with the best shop won something. Back in those days Kev P got hated on so hardcore...especially when they took live callers. I felt bad for dude but he always stuck through it and I got alot of respect for him because of that.

Dude KNOWS exactly what he's talking about. None of his female cohosts came anywhere near his level of knowledge...imo they were the actors.

Munn was good but she was cocky
Sarah was just eye-candy plain and simple
Candace is a sweet innocent girl but this job isn't for her

IMHO the female cohost position should have been given to Jessica Chobot...she was the only qualified candidate that AOTS ever tested out. She's hot as hell and she's a nerd too.

It's a stable job and it looks like he loves what he does.  He's also been there since the beginning of the show, I think since the Screen Savers days.  He does projects on the side, last week he did a show / podcast in a theater about making fun of porn.  Their guest was pornstar April O'Neil

.  Today he said he wrote stuff for askmen.com.  It's different for the female hosts since their goals were probably always to become actresses, so there's more of a chance they'll bounce when an opportunity comes around.

Exactly I wouldn't even call it a job more like getting paid for his hobby. I mean who wouldn't want that? And I agree about the co-host, I was watching a review once about a new home theater system and all Sara did was ask Kevin questions about the product; she had nothing to contribute or no input about it herself. Almost like she wouldn't even know how to turn the thing on, she even stumbled on some of those questions when she couldn't pronounce the words or the feature was more than 3 words.

I actually felt bad for her and it was difficult to watch.

You could obviously tell that she was there for eye candy and really has no knowledge of the product itself.
