Depends on your perspective. He protects his country and ppl in a pretty American way. Gains power and keeps it in a similar way too.
At least the comic version the past decade or two.
If they do it right they can do it like some takes on Dr. Doom where he isn't a dictator but a hero, protector and dedicated leader of his country where they all prosper.

Love the show but I enjoyed Harley and Ivy's friendship and their dating follies. Them being together was unnecessary.
