That's really too bad. It was his opportunity to shine with his national team. I had the Ivory Coast going into the round of 16 too. They were saying there was a chance he could still play, but I really doubt it.

I know injuries are part of the game, but its the World Cup. Coaches should be limiting and protecting their best players especially in these exhibition games and practices just like the NFL does.
