Diet Thread: What foods worked for you?

Im doing this intermittent fasting thing. I only eat dinner, fast till the next day, drink a green smoothie at lunch , rinse wash repeat ...

Any of the fitness guru's wanna tell me if I'm on the right path or I'm running in place ...

i'm no guru but it all depends on what you're eating during your window. i've done IF while eating only from 4-8pm and i actually gained weight because i was eating too many calories by pigging out on crap when i did eat. you have to burn more calories than you take in and you'll lose weight. IF is only a tool to better manage your calories and feel satiated when you do eat.
 
I eat whatever wifey makes for dinner, just a small plate. I'd usually eat a giant plate and one refill ... 42 now, time to chill.
