DS OG 13's??

Found these in my closet yesterday. These were my first pair of OGs I added to my collection back in ‘09. Got these @ some sneaker show in NYC. Fun fact my first post ever on NT was posting these. I’ve been lurking NT for years prior. When I got these I felt it was time to join the community .

The night I bought the OG playoffs I couldn’t sleep. I started lurking the web and kept thinking about Flint 13’s and how much I was looking forward to the upcoming retro. But looking at pics of the new retro something was off about them even with the them being remastered. The shade of blue on the OG I could still see all these years later in my head and the past retros just couldn’t get the color right. The 2020 retro was looking like it was gonna drop the ball on the color blue and the shade of grey again. Kept wishing the new retro would tweak things here and there to make them like the OG’s. How the blue was so rich and stood out like the OG’s. How the tongue sat at a perfect height like the OG’s. Then I paused for a second, and ended up on eBay again. I started doing some searching to humor myself.....and then it got real impulsive for your boy....

Deadstock 1998 Air Jordan 13 “Flint”

They were in Zip lock bags and tons of silica packets. Both the sellers for the Flints and the Playoffs were sports memorabilia collectors. They kept the conditions of the shoes so pristine on top of them being DS. They’re gonna look so good on my feet, not too often , but they gotta get worn

And I think I want the rest of the OG hi top set too

Didn’t expect them in this soon but they’re here. The quality on them is still immaculate 22 years later. The shape of original 13’s is out of this world. Truly ahead of their time.
