Steph's 2015 finals averages in 6 games:
26/5/6. sure he got "locked" up by delladova in game 2 but let's not act like he disappeared the rest of the series. yall let the whole "iggy was MVP of the Finals" narrative cloud your mind when it comes to assessing steph's play in last year's finals. please stop with that bs.
if you want to talk about crumbling when it counted, then I'll say that this years' finals and a majority of the WCF for sure. but stop acting like he was a no-show in last year's finals.

Do you? Curry chucked up a lot of threes. He made them at a 40+ percentile, however a lot of them where still bad shots.

Because that's not how that argument works. No intelligent discussions to be had on here, just at at the percentage of people who think curry is better than lebron just because he can shoot better.
Because that's not how that argument works.
This isn't 2K where you look at each players attributes and that determines who's better than who. Which player is maxing out his ability to DOMINATE. Lebron's done it for over a decade (and took a few L's on the big stage). Steph Curry did that these past couple of years (took an L doing it).
You dudes get lost in this back and forth banter and don't realize that we're talking about LEGENDS. I'm ok with someone saying Lebron is better. But stop acting like the argument was sooooooo silly as if it had no merit. Steph Curry name is on this thread for a reason. It doesn't say Kyrie Irving...it doesn't say Russell Westbrook...it doesn't say Kevin Durant. In Lebron's 13 years...Steph has been the loudest competition to his claim to "the throne".
I could care less about the back and forth hater talk where dudes clearly start trolling in their points...I have no dog in the fight either. I'm just saying...Steph is in the midst of storied career. Stop acting like this debate is about Kyle Lowry and Lebron.
I understood your point perfectly.Steph is a legend and the greatest shooter of alltime, I'm not one to deny that. He also deserved mvp this year. I'm not one to deny that either. He's also top 3 in the league.
But like I said bron is easily the better all around player. That's my only argument if you disagree I probably won't take anymore opinions seriously,
I mean come on....
Dude shut up. If you aren't trolling, that may have been the worst basketball comment I've ever read on NT ever. You can't compare steph curry to Jordan Crawford or 15'-16' Kobe and have anything valid to say after that.
Do you? Curry chucked up a lot of threes. He made them at a 40+ percentile, however a lot of them where still bad shots.
Well his chucking got them to within one minute of being back to back champs so his "chucking" hasn't been that bad.The fact remains, it didn't matter whether curry took a three or a mid range or even a lay up, it was all the same percentage.....so he just took threes cause it got more points. If my threes were going in as much as mid range shots I'd be launching threes as well.
Unfortunately, live by the three die by the three. Dude forgot about all other aspects of his game focusing on chucking up shots in the playoffs.
Lebron didn't unearth that argument. That's a (ridiculous) argument that has been around for a while. And if we're going to subscribe to that logic...we should have given the award to Damian Lillard since that team would have won 20 games max without him.
lol I dunno, I'm actually not mad he got it dude had an all-time great season.....but people are looking back now at Lebron's beef with him winning and it makes perfect sense. MVP is not necessarily a measure of value to a team...which is ok I guess.

Bron decides to play defense for 3 games and 3 years of not doing it goes right out the window. That's not how it works.
If you're going to use that logic...then I guess when Lebron actually was in his prime defensively...that because he lost in 2011 it means he actually WASN'T a great defender that year? How does it work? Do it throughout the season an leave without a ring?

Is that how that works?
You've moved goal posts so many timesNaw but you can read the edit then continue to argue somemore even though the world knows bron is better than steph, and if they didn't believe it before they sure do now
You've moved goal posts so many times
It's like when you get stumped you just revert back to "Lebron > Steph"
I'm not getting to into that Groundhog Day loop. You win.

buuuut...those were the "important" games.I'm not going to let a 3 game stretch override a much larger sample size. It makes no sense.
1) He can't guard all 5 positions and doesn't 90% of the time.
If you can guard 5 positions on the floor you are an elite defender. People are just mad he doesn't play with the same intensity on defense during the regular season. If i was guaranteed a place into the playoffs in a weak *** conference, I wouldn't be trying that hard either.
His defense in important games >>>>>
