Prime Em is like the Rap Grant Hill. Dmx is the rap Penny Hardaway.

It's crazy that Em had just a 4 year stretch (99-03) and is even in the conversation of GOAT. I get it though. DMX had a similar stretch too (98-03) but a lot of people don't mention him.

All in All, I try to take the best of Em and ignore the trash he's put out for 10+ years. (Fast lane was dope though). Same thing I do with Wayne, Jay, etc.

He appeals to the widest range of fans while providing the talent to actually merit his success. 

I've enjoyed everything he's put out short of encore.

he's been lame for the past decade now doe. SMH, i don't understand how the Grammy can still give him awards. Dude is passed his prime and doesn't deserve all those accolades.

Dude is talented, but it's pretty clear to see that he's fallen off hard for 12 years and counting. The accolades will tell you different though.
