FanDuel Vol. The Best/Worst Thing To Happen to Fantasy Sports

Did a three man contest this week. I came in 3rd (had a bad week of duds), but I feel worse for my friend who came in second.

He lost by .46 points. Had Nelson and Lacy going for him, and the 1st place winner only had a roster made up of 1PM games :wow: .

:lol: I've been being a cheapskate on this signed up with the promo match bonus only put 50 in but I've never tried h2h...you can join any week in those right? Def easier to beat 9 then 3000 like I've been attempting :rofl: this really is addicting though. I'm in first place in my reg money league for fantasy so hopefully I can translate to this one I've only won like $10 smh need to evaluate my strategy

lmaooo breh i just said the same thing. Signed up for six 20 entrys tourneys tonight for NBA. Much easier to make 25-100 bucks a night then trying to win a grand against 3000 people lol.
 
Edit thought u put 190, 198 easily woulda won you $400 a tourney. what was your squad ballinsam?

Yeah basically. 4 of the entries are basically th same with the exception of 1-3 players just incase one player i have at SF is off and the other guy is hot in another entry (ex. last night Thad Young was horrible but Iguadola went was hot).

But i do my entrys like the NFL. I keep the majority of the same players in multiple entries but I change around RB's and my 3rd WR

Lemme help you out bro... Brandon Jennings is back which means Bynums minutes will be pretty low. Look at CJ watson ($3,900) instead whos starting in place of George hill who is not playing tonight instead.

SG is nice. Bledsoe and Demar can get you 35+ easily.

PG is nice. But beware, hes playing against Det and his rebound total might be low. I'm starting him over Lebron tho.

AK47 doesnt get enough mins. Look at PJ tucker whos cheaper and puts produces.

PF is solid. Hickson can be hit or miss so beware of that. Could do a lil better than him..

Center is a lock with cousins. Heres my lineup

question for those doing NBA. is it better to have more players or would having star players be better? their scoring system:rolleyes seems a bit weird when I glanced at it so I'm hesitant to pull the trigger on it. is there a way I can do a practice one for a day?

Eh...Fitz and Vince jackson are the definition of boom or bust. I'd rather go with Keenan Allen ($7,100) and someone like Andre Johnson ($6,900) they both get heavy targets and more consistant.

RB's are nice. i love Ellington this week

Keenum is risky. Had a good game but idk..he could have a letdown after the hype hes got since sunday. Eli manning is a good cheap QB this week against that Oakland D

Depends.. ive noticed the top entrys usual never have superstars but all there guys are role players. Now its all about luck. CJ Miles put up like 35+ fantasy points last night while Thad young had like 12 so its all about picking guys that you have trust in and def look at matchups. Beware of SF's playing GS because Iggy is a lockdown defender, etc
 
Thanks for the feedback Rook, I already entered that one :lol: tried to maximize my lineup while hving an ok QB. I should've used most of my lineup last week for my real fantsy squad smh hindsight is 20-20 but I had a HUGE week and Jason Campbell was qb so he probably wasn't expensive :smh:

Gonna try one more out with Keenan allen though I like some of the systems in here I had really been trying to gamble with some sleepers :pimp:

EDIT: :stoneface: :stoneface: at myself...definitely never realized I could edit my line ups once I submit them and pay :lol:

I looked at most of the guys that won good $ today and they have 2 top salary players, 2 medium salary players, and the rest are below average bench players who put up LUCKY crazy #s
