fireworks in ny will it ever be legal?

Just a question ny has strict laws but with the state needing money and now competing with nearby states on certain revenue that ny "swore" it would never allow in the state example is gambling with yonkers raceway, aqueduct, and soon belmont racetrack.  Now i hear they are getting table games too with a dealer, and then tax free week on clothes not that that is so high on the list.  So do you think fireworks will be legal soon with all the money Penn and CT make off of nys residents?  Just curious of thoughts on the matter.

They legalized them in MI just this year for that reason. It could be possible.

How long has this been going on?
I guess since its a fire hazard is why they enacted this law, Always heard of place being set on fire by fireworks in NY

i would think theyd lose more money from buildings being burned down than firework profits

I could see pot being legal before fireworks.
