Asking price is hovering around the 1k mark which leads me to believe fake...can't be sure if fake or really good deal.

those are real…. 1k is a rip off though, you can get em for 750-900

I don't know anywhere specific, maybe you can make deals through paypal and negotiate. I know people that have gotten them for under 900 at places like sneakercon and other sneaker shows.

You will not find any DS pair for under $900 with og all, anytime soon
