I think she technically is. I mean, all the bus monitor and after school "latch-key" (Aka after school day care) people were usually very old. I assume they retired from their careers and just liked helping/being around kids. Those jobs don't pay much, it's usually just a hobby to keep themselves busy after retirement. I bet shes heart broken.
