Pretty sure we'd be the equivalent of visiting the zoo to aliens.
To your left you'll see humans flocking to wait in behind each other for the chance to purchase the skins of other animals. While they may be resting peacefully for weeks at a time. If a scavenger attempts to move to the front of the line ahead of the alpha male, the entire group could become violent and hostile. They sometimes use calls to attract mates to bring them food while in this waiting period. And if you look to your right you'll see the Americans being win other people's business as always.
Sir keep your hand in the space craft. And don't feed the humans please
It's very possible but given the size like you say there's most likely more than one and given how evolution works, assuming it works the same on every planet that can yield life, I'd have to say there's different ways to form intelligent biological life forms over millions of years of evolution to different threats and circumstances. The universe is too big for there NOT to be life out there.
I believe it's other humans. No more or less advanced, just like us.

A "perfect" storm for us but not in general.

But wasn't evolution the perfect storm of conditions, elements and circumstances? If any little thing was off, it would have happened.
If anything, it maybe a different species that became dominant.
I hope we discover life within my life time, or at least let it be known to the public. I don't even care what might go down, I just think it would be amazing.
I'd be down once I'm 100.Why dont we strap one of yall to the hadron collider then you go into the blackhole on a string we pull you back and you tell us what it's like?
