AI didn't play much; he started and quickly left due to mic issues, must've been tangled with his jersey. Crowd got mad and was chanting "we want AI" multiple times, so he got in. He was def. like 1-6 or more, he hit a jump shot tho.

Dr. J, Rick Barry, GP, and Charles Oakley were some of the coaches

AI is on one of the worst of the teams, probably the worst, but his team pulled it in.

First Larry Hughes and McCants got into it but then Stephen Jackson and McCants got into it badly; like Jackson was sonning him hard; shoving and mushing him even after dead balls and all; he got a tech.

Structure of the game is cool too. 30 min halfs; if you score 30 tho, the half ends; 60 wins the game.
4 pointers are included. Bibby hit two of them.

It's definitely nice and well thought out; there was a point in the 3rd game (4 games total) where there were so many consecutive misses from both teams; it got so bad, the crowd was booing; seemed like Ice Cube was frustrated and it def didn't look good for the game and brand; but they gotta keep in mind these dudes are older and out the league... but im talking like 8-10 straight missed shots, it was ugly.

White chocolate got hurt really bad and you could hear him screaming from the stands. I had really good seats too. Harden and Lou were kinda hating on the former players/making fun of them.. nothing serious but def giving off the "dudes does are trash and were never better than me" vibe lol

I think that's it as far as a recap lol
It was fun and I would attend again.
AI signed stuff briefly; everyone signed stuff and took pics.
Some players sat in the crowd with the fans.
It was good.

that booing during that one stretch was classic... how the crowd go from cheering R.lewis like he's the GOAT to booing over 8 or 9 consecutive misses... 

the crowd was feening for a crossover... 

me and my crew left to go burn in the staircase... game was kinda trash...

kwame was killing... lol

everyone else looks way outta shape... im pretty sure the best 3 ballers on NT couldve did work
 
From what I understand Jason Williams still plays year round. He should be ok.

Rashard got jumper and he's tall af. He should kill.

this looks like a terrible idea. these guys arent preparing at all. ill be surprised if they continue next year

AI is 42 and I don't know anyone at that age that has decent speed. This has to be treated like a fan appreciation of some sorts. Like a senior gold league. I think it's cool to see these guys but I bet some top rated high schoolers can take these guys on.

Perhaps this will work better with recently retired NBA players that still have the conditioning to play but just not in an NBA game. I am sure people like Paul Pierce, Garnett and what not can still play.
 
The making of the league by Cube is coming on later. Games start at 5.
 
Anyone looking like they could still play in the NBA?

Or they just look like a tier above rec league?
