Is there any worse stretch of road than 495 MD/VA? vol. work commute

Yeap... took me about two hours to get home tonight from work. Damn shame, no accidents, just volume. And then the stoplights are setup to turn red once the previous light turns green. Disgusting.

its only one lane leaving a 4 lane highway to enter a 5 lane highway in the most condensed part of houston.

also, if you ride 45 south, right there by the galeria and friendswood... its horrible, too...

Won't really help. Over half the traffic caused in the area is due to driver stupidity.
THIS. What does the ICC matter when people will continue to shift lanes at the flip of a switch while there's a car RIGHT NEXT TO THEM? This stupid $!#%# tried to dart into my lane last week while I was right next to her. I looked at her for about 20 seconds straight before flipping her off.

Idk why but I can picture this lmao. Breathing all hard and heavy liable to flip at the slightest thing lol.

295 (BW Pkwy)  is the worst stretch of asphalt ever laid in the US, 495 is a close behind...

Its ALWAYS some type of roadwrk/construction going on... and God forbid there's an accident in the morning or evening...

I used to travel from Baltimore to Fort Belvoir this past December - March for work...

Rt. 100 -> Rt. 50 -> 495 into VA through Springfield -> Ft. Belvoir...

Some evenings, I felt like crying because my communte was so long...

495 towards Dulles is a trap also...

I was down in Orlando last week and I've experienced the horror. Not to mention the $5.69/gal price my co-worker paid for gas near the airport...

    this

it doesnt help that the Casino being built at Arundel Mills and the city of Laurel expanding to include the BRAC at Ft Meade will help this either

95 in Laurel is getting bad too with the ICC contruction and Konterra Mall
