It's most likely 1 million in Israeli notes which is around 250-300k nowadays.
even if it is 1 million USD I'm pretty sure it'd be easy to fit that even in a twin mattress.

Yeah kinda looks shady if you think about it. She hid a lot money in there but the reporter probably exaggerated the amount to get more attention.

That ain't a mil. Israeli currency is 1/4th American. So if it was a mil, at most it'd be worth 250 thou.
