To be honest i never believed the no fap movement and always thought it was placebo...BUT i figured id give it a try and see whats it about to find out the results for myself... and even if no fap doesnt work according to that article you can still learn a lot from no fap like i have myself... first off its not normal to look at pr0n all day everyday and fap to it and its just a bad habit in general... what no fap does is make you more willing to pursue women and be more social because you have no other way to get your "rocks off"... AND you start to realize that pr0n takes up so much times that you can be more productive doing other things than staring in front of your computer all day
That doesn't even make sense..
Not to yiu but the science guy...
Too much of ANYTHING is detrimental to your health.
And internet porn is SO new.
Dude research was funded by ********
If you start watching a porno and within three seconds you have a boner but when you have a naked girl in front of you you can aroused, you may have a porn problem.I don't think he insinuated that isnt the case, but the subjectivity of it. People say "A lot of porn is bad for you", but high levels of evidence has suggested otherwise. How much is "too much"?
That's what i think the article was missing. We're in a day in age where there's so much high speed high definition porn. I don't think there's even been any research done yettosee how high speed internet has contributed to this pandemic of porn addiction. That doesn't even make sense..

High speed internet has a HUGE impactI see what youre saying, but that is debatable. Reason being is that a lot of men have performance anxiety. Seeing a naked woman in person (and intimidating for the non experienced or if you really like a chick) is different than seeing one on a computer screen. Someone who hasn't had a lot of sexual interaction may be insecure about the way they perform and may not get an erection.
I think the variable of "high speed internet" and super HD 4K porn is trivial. It's a similar argument people in Colorado and Washington state were using to legalize marijuana. Correlating access and availability with increased addiction/use. Which so far has not been true.
Idk about y'all but that penis size thread got me itching for that fap

High speed internet has a HUGE impact
Literally hours upon hours of varying degrees of porn through a few clicks ...
Compared to a few videos on vhs
How hard was it to find a did with Asian ****** porn ?
Pretty tough
Now, you can get that easy... And going to the extremes with fetishes, searching for more shocking and hardcore stuff is why high speed internet has a huge effect
From personal experience I definitely knew when I was watching too much porn and fapping too much. Sex just wasn't as satisfying
I'm skeptical of how damaging it is mentally and I'm mainly doing this to become more disciplined
