If you are familiar with Asians when they are drunk, they fight a lot, an example would be that video of what happened in Chinatown in Boston. It's like all that bottled up emotion and anger comes out because they lack of control and "machismo" when they are sober. Bringing it back to relating to Japanese people, specifically, they lack the most "machismo". Think about what a sex symbol is to Americans, what a real man, what a hero, what a "badboy" is to us. While the rest of the world looks up to military men and people who sling guns to be cool, they cant do that. They don't have their own military because of the treaty they have with America after WW2. Guns are prohibited unless you are a cop. There is so much to be proud of in America but our juvenile attitude about sex are a profound source of embarrassment for me, a proud American citizen, in the eyes of my non American friends. When you look at Continental Europe or Latin America, they are even more realistic. So, with that it mind, I am not going to pass judgement on Japanese culture, which has a more mature view of sexuality. The average American has an early adolescent view of sexuality, the mere mention of anything sexual will turn many growth men and women into snickering school children. People in the Anglo phone are like HS seniors, who are able to suppress their snickers over things that are remotely sexual, Europeans and Latin Americans are like college seniors and they laugh at blatantly sexual situations where some is caught in a compromised position and it the humiliation and not the sex that is the source of the humor.

Japanese, even younger adult Japanese are like our elderly parents, if they are going to laugh about sex it is usually in a very wry and indirect way with no snickering over a word or mere hint of sexuality. Typically, Japanese people who are one with human nature and know what we all know, that fertile, nubile teenage girls are, by the laws of nature, not children so being attracted to them sexually is not a violation of our universal human disdain for the molestation and, worse yet, penetration, of prepubescent people, children, as defined by the laws of nature and not some arbitrary statute.

Nobody addressed the issue though. I'm not talking about their porn industry; I'm talking about how porn is apart of their everyday life. Why would anyone find the need to play rape games and dressing games on Nintendo DS/ 3DS when it's AIMED at KIDS. What's the logic behind this? So, with that it mind, I am not going to pass judgement on Japanese culture, which has a more mature view of sexuality. The average American has an early adolescent view of sexuality, the mere mention of anything sexual will turn many growth men and women into snickering school children. People in the Anglo phone are like HS seniors, who are able to suppress their snickers over things that are remotely sexual, Europeans and Latin Americans are like college seniors and they laugh at blatantly sexual situations where some is caught in a compromised position and it the humiliation and not the sex that is the source of the humor.

Japanese, even younger adult Japanese are like our elderly parents, if they are going to laugh about sex it is usually in a very wry and indirect way with no snickering over a word or mere hint of sexuality. Typically, Japanese people who are one with human nature and know what we all know, that fertile, nubile teenage girls are, by the laws of nature, not children so being attracted to them sexually is not a violation of our universal human disdain for the molestation and, worse yet, penetration, of prepubescent people, children, as defined by the laws of nature and not some arbitrary statute.

I find the notion of "recycled" school uniforms (it is very weird on many levels to be able to buy, from a vending machine, the unwashed panties of school girls) to be a bit unnerving. However, I do understand why Japanese, especially wealthy Japanese, would invest time and money into courting and deflowering teenagers. In culture without opiates and cocaine are legally and socially taboo and where drinking can be very hard but is limited in the times of day when it is permissible, one can see how direct or indirect interact with the sexuality of teenagers, whose very bodies are beacons for male sexual attention, would become a national institution in Japan.

I don't think any of his information is accurate though. I see him post these long "opinions" on NT a lot. For someone to make these statements they would need to do a lot of hands on research. Years worth of it. First Hand.
Nobody addressed the issue though. I'm not talking about their porn industry; I'm talking about how porn is apart of their everyday life. Why would anyone find the need to play rape games and dressing games on Nintendo DS/ 3DS when it's AIMED at KIDS. What's the logic behind this? This would NEVER slide in the U.S and a lot of other countries. You may call the U.S immature but at least we have SOME guidelines and standards.The ideas you instill in them at a young age molds them on later on in life. Any child who grows up with that would think it's okay to treat women like that leading to a lot of BAD choices in life.

How are they more mature when they are the ones who are known for the iconic "school girl"? Used Panty Vending Machines? Molestation. Obscure Sex Game Shows?

Putting sex out there doesn't make you more mature. They are living out their fantasies that should stay that...fantasies. Just get over it like the rest of us...

How does a young Japanese girl feel when she walks to school everyday knowing that every man regardless of age sees her as "the holy grail" and would court her for years for a chance to sniff her panties.

I see this in Muslim cultures too. Having 7 wives does not give you the perception of being a powerful man. It means you are WEAK and SELFISH and have no regard for human life. You might as well through them in a cage. A lot of these cultures have NO RESPECT for WOMEN which is why they get NO RESPECT from me. 

I feel like there is no such thing as being a good person anymore. Everyone always tailors their life in a way that no matter what choices are made it's "right" in their eyes. Balls. Grow them Japan.

EDIT: NOTE....This debate isn't about the Japanese in General. We love you guys (most of you)...This is about their ODD way of dealing with SEX. I am seeing a lot of people defend this culture. Please stop giving one word, one sentence responses and put some weight behind your words.

It's another thing that makes no sense. None at all. They only censor "penetration". I'm appalled that people think we are the ones behind the times.
It's like the Japanese Videogame Industry; They were known as the front runners, the innovators, and rightfully so but once the rest of the world started to catch up they just got stuck. Their answer was to keep trying with their old formula and eventually something will sell. What was that Farcry 3 trailer about? If you keep doing the same thing expecting different results you will go insane. There were a lot of good articles on the way they run businesses and it isn't good or healthy at all. They need change.
