There is no pedophile type. There’s plenty of guys who are “the type,” who would never harm a child. Meanwhile, there’s plenty of “Chads” and “Alpha Males” who harm children.

Also, there’s a pretty big distinction between the congenital mental Illness of pedophilia, which is some degree of sexual attraction to prepubescent children, and child sexual abuse. Many pedophiles never harm a child and many nonpedophiles sexually abuse children.

The sexual abuse of children is an act of dominance, aggression, and opportunism.

Wars, conquest, economic inequality, patriarchy, nationalism, really anything that causes power imbalances to exist among different types of people increases the chances of child sexual abuse.

At every turn, rightwing ideology increases the chances for non pedophiles to sexually abuse child.

The populist right’s bluster about wanting to do horrific vigilantism against “pedophiles” discourages people with an attraction to children to seek mental health treatment. Moreover, their whole culture of publicly professing their hatred of pedophiles has nothing to do with protecting children. They just happen to understand that publicly voicing a desire to murder other social enemies is not acceptable anymore. The CHUDs would rather say how badly they want to lynch black people but they can’t, so pedophilia acts as proxy for their fantasies of enforcing hierarchy with violence.

Oh, also, the right’s war on sexual education, that will make it harder for child who were sexually abused or who are in a situation where sexual abuse is likely to happen. These child will have no way of articulating the danger they are in or how and by whom they were abused.

The solution to the sexual abuse of children is pretty straightforward. Dismantle hierarchies, build a universal culture of consent, and establish systems of care and mutual assistance throughout society.

If you truly care about the welfare of children, fight like hell for the most marginalized and vulnerable children in the world.

Rodgers wasn't even out there like Kyrie saying he won't take the vaccine.

Rogers was asked if he was vaccinated before the season, and he said he was "immunized". Which was bull****. He was not vaccinated, he was doing some alternative medicine nonsense, and he appealed to the NFL to have that in place of the vaccine, which was denied. Instead of being direct and honest, he wanted to hide behind semantics

-Later on Arron Rodgers said he didn't take the mRNA vaccine because he was allergic to an ingredient in them, he never specified which ingredient though. He then said he didn't want to take the Johnson-n-Johnson shot because he was concerned about side effects (ok fine). Then be upfront about it

-He then goes on to break NFL protocols for unvaccinated players. He doesn't wear a face mask at pressers because he thinks it is stupid. So he doesn't tell people he is unvaccinated, and he goes around them unmasked.

-He went to parties with other vaccinated team members. Breaking a team rule.

-Then he caught Covid, had to miss a game, his lies and entitlement got exposed and then people clowned him

In a 46-minute appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show," Rodgers said he is allergic to an ingredient in two of the three approved vaccines -- the ones produced by Moderna and Pfizer, known as mRNA vaccines. He confirmed that he underwent a treatment designed to raise his immunity and appealed to the NFL to be considered vaccinated but lost that appeal.

"I believe strongly in bodily autonomy and the ability to make choices for your body, not to have to acquiesce to some woke culture or crazed group of individuals who say you have to do something," Rodgers said during a lengthy rebuttal to what he suggested was misinformation reported over the past several days. "Health is not a one-size-fits-all for everybody, and for me it involved a lot of study in the offseason."

They are his employer and union that want to keep the product intact so everyone can keep making money.
