sneakerking29 I don't know how long they'll sit and really don't care. Getting mine on Saturday. Just saying dudes shouldn't buy into the hype nor try to build it when the writing's on the wall (Gucci voice). All indications lead to these being everywhere and for the most part attainable come Saturday for those who want. With that map I'm calling a spade a spade. The NA being on the back is just a desperate selling point for a not so popular CW and I see Nike has a lot of people sold on the notion that these should be hard. At the end of the day they're Maroons and require an acquired taste to love em. A lot of young beast can care less and don't have the money with all the releases going on this season.

saw a lot of people in the short time I was putting in tickets here in Socal. We have a pretty big base of resellers and hypebeasts so even releases like those Patent leather 4's were sell outs.

I dropped about 6 tickets. I think that is the magic number for these. Retail or bust for me. and retail is already a reseller's price.

Every store still had FSR of the 8's btw.

would be surprised if that FTL map was accurate.
the map showed like that for the hologram foams before the release, but a few days before, it was updated to much less stores.
i found out cuz my boy at one store was shown to be getting them, while he said they werent getting them.... sure enough later that week the map was updated to way less stores.

My local is getting 18 pair of maroons. They usually get 24 for most GR retros. They had 36 aquas.

Personally, I've held these in hand so I know what the quality is like. It's straight. There was effort on JBs part but it's nothing to write home about. Most of the shoe is the same type of leather found on the ugly sweater 7s. However the leather used on the side panels that make up the '3' in the '23' design is a softer leather and has a lot more give to it.

To those wondering if maroon 6s will sell out, think about the cigar and champagne 7 releases from earlier this summer. Each pair retailed at $250, a $60 increase compared to the $190 retail price most other 2015 retros cost at the time. They were a "premium" release meaning they had some sort of theme or a backstory tied to the them, featured better materials, and weren't the most widely available of releases. When they dropped many dudes had no problem dropping the dough to cop but I guess at $250+tax they were still pretty expensive and were available for weeks and weeks after release to anyone that did the slightest bit of "homework". All you had to do was a call a nike store and place a phone order, they had boatloads of pairs. This was due to them not being released on NDC but eventually they still sold out.

If $250 was doable then dudes won't have any problem dropping $220+tax on these maroons this Saturday. Their story is that they are a retro of a shoe that we haven't seen since their original release 24 years ago. The Nike Air branding on the heel makes them that much more sought after. It makes them closer to the originals which is enough to send some heads (and beasts) to the mall ready to swipe their cards when they usually wouldn't. Now you have to take this 'QS' label into consideration. The fact that they retail for $220 and normal discounts won't apply on these will cause some broke boys to stay home, but it will also attach a "worth something down the road" stigma to them. Last year employees couldn't get the Ferrari 14s with their discount. The shoe was released in multiple locations but the numbers were on the lower side. All the factors were there: higher retail price, no discounts, story tied to them, softer materials etc. and flash forward a year later the ferraris are held to a higher regard compared to the black toe or sport blue 14s that released around the same time. Case in point, the price tag won't deter many.

Maroons will play out like if the cigar and champagne 7s had been cheaper, more available, and featured nike air branding on an OG colorway on a much more beloved model. basically I'm saying they'll sell out. Yea a couple places might have them Sunday morning when the winners don't pick up their pairs the day before, but FTL family sites and Ndc will probably say sold out before the weekend is over.

saw more people than normal entering raffle for these. i think it will just depend on your location for the difficulty level of obtaining these sneakers.

More spots than usual are doing FCFS for these. I've held them in my hands and theyre almost impeccable quality. Hopefully the resale value won't be too ratchet, because I have to wait until next week to cop them since I'm tapped from bills and the holograms

Sure she wasn't talking to a woman? Men's to women's size is 1.5 size up, generally.

These should run TTS. At least base your projections off last year.

Honestly think that the very small interest I have in these is the fact that they have Nike Air on the back.
