No proof, just a gut feeling. Their whole release strategy most certainly changed once people found the product pages early. May have forced their hand to drop them when people are least expecting it. IE, a different day.

Honestly they should've just done a raffle themselves. While people have lower expectations on their chances with raffles at least it's a somewhat more level playing field against bots.
