Weatherman Question:  Does anyone know the difference between the retail and promo pairs?  Is one more or less desirable to valuable than the other?  Any other noticeable differences (quality, etc.).  

I have an opportunity to pick up a pair (re-sell priced...) but want to pick the best one since the cost is similar.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  I've searched but couldn't really find anything.  Thanks in advance.  See the sample pair below (legit)?

The difference between promos and retail pairs are different for every single promo pair. From my experience, I haven't seen a promo weatherman with significant differences from the retail pair. I used to have a retail pair and cound't find almost any differences from promos and I have seen about a handful. They are usually really minor differences.
