Yes i asked the guy what that was and he said it came with it and it's to protect the tounge

imind came with tissue paper, shoe trees and some  carboard paper.

yes they do come with that around the tongue. I don't really see how it protects it though lol

These are legit I can tell by the tongue and the thick padding in the back
