Laker game/Staples Center question? Volume: Outside food.

My girl got us some tickets for the Laker game tomorrow, and Im tryin to get some Kogi inside to eat at halftime 

I checked Staples website and of course, outside food/drink isnt allowed. And they also inspect bags.
So Im wondering if they just glance inside or do they really dig through purses?

Laker games = no ins and outs (im pretty sure) so its gonna have to be on the first try... good luck though... bottom of her purse should work but I don't know... pile a ton of stuff on top

True, but if you can't afford it, you eat before or after the game.  
You are pretty much paying those "ambiance /convenience" prices at the game. 

It's the same when you go to a bar, you pay $7 for a bottle of Bud-Light when you can buy a 12 pack for $9.99, right?

I agree. The last game I went to, I ate before leaving, but it wasnt enough. Of course, I knew prices would be expensive inside so I just held it until the game was over. Lines were long too and I didnt want to miss the action.

OP - its a longshot, but if you look white or even middle easternish, claim that you are an Orthodox Jew and you can only eat kosher.

It was a few years ago, but we had a company event in one of the suites and I had a devout Jewish co-worker so he couldn't eat the food in the suites. They stopped him at the entrance and told him no food allowed, but when he explained that he has to each kosher due to religious practices, they let it slide.

I doubt kogi tacos are kosher, but the people who work the door at Staples are pretty dumb so you might be able to convince them otherwise.

If the lens is larger than a credit card, then you cannot bring it in... That's what they told me when I asked..

i guess its the same as other nba court. i tried bringing in a dslr at the oracle arena and they allowed me bring in a dslr with the kit lens...i was able to sneak in the zoom lens since i placed it under the bag...

hahahaha i was running a bit late to a playoff game last year and we were queued up at the doors to go through the screener.  I see Denzel and his wife hurryin to the door and instantly he was met by a couple of Staples center employees who escorted him to the front of the line.  Employees walked in front, Denzel after, his wife trailing.  One of the women working the door STOPS Denzel's wife and is like MAAM WE NEED TO CHECK YOUR PURSE!  I was like

.  Seriously?  Did she not see that one of her coworkers was escorting them in?  Even if she missed that... did she not see that this woman was clearly with Denzel?  The escort employee turned around and shot girl the

 and they kept it moving.  Best part was right after they had passed, the girl working the next line over says to dummy "guuuuuuuuuuuuuuurl, didnt you know who that was??????" like shes all dumb and stuff.
